8/26/2010

Got K to bed "early" tonight, hopefully he stays there so I can have a child-free workout. I've been up and going all day long. Got the upstairs mostly cleaned, made a real dinner etc. And I really think the difference is the workouts lately.

B - Nature Valley granola bar
L - Grilled tuna sandwich, chicken noodle/veg soup
S - cheese stix
D - home made pizza rolls

The neighbors brought over some cookies too. They were oatmeal raisin, and I only ate two. Time to go work them off with Jillian. Honestly I'm not excited to do 30DS tonight, especially since I promised myself I'd start using weights, but I need the strength training, and this is the fastest way to do it. Some day I'll break into P90X again. I miss it, but just don't have the time to devote to it until K is sleeping better.

3/21 days to form a habit

ps. I'm so glad that Chalene taught me to smile through a workout. It really does make a difference. 30DS isn't very fun, so I have to do things to entertain myself. Like counting in various languages, turning circles while doing boring cardio moves etc.

Z needed to get a bunch of work done today at the house, and it wasn't going to happen with me and the boys around. So we went to my mom's for the day. It makes for a loooooong day. It also means that I'm kind of at the mercy of what's in her fridge as far as what I have available to eat.

B - left over pizza.....
L - turkey sandwich
S - toast, Nature Valley fruit & nut bar
D - ham and newpus (new potatoes, carrots, peas, cream sauce, amazing)

I have NO motivation to do any kind of workout tonight. It's been a really long day of a baby who refuses to sleep unless he's home and in his swing. But I'm going to go "crush play" as Tony Horton would say, and try and find some motivation to do a workout. I think I'm going to have to do something in Turbo Jam in order to get through it. Shalene has a way of making me smile and get through a workout more than any of my other "trainers" can.

2/21 days to form a habit

P.S. In the beginning of the workout she says that it'll be "the best 20 minutes of your day". She was right.

B - Oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins
L - Crispy chicken salad
S - Fruit & Cashews
D - Chicken and black bean taco

I did the Turbo Jam 20 minute workout this morning. I forgot how much I LOVE that workout. Time flies by when you're having that much fun. I feel like it's a pretty good quality workout as well. It's straight cardio, but it's really good. I have an easier time doing it than I do 30DS.

It takes 21 days to form a habit. Here is day 1 completed.
