This is officially my workout blog! Likely I won't tell anyone else that it even exists. I just needed a place "out in the world" where I can whine and gripe about my workouts for the next few weeks before I start feeling good about them! I might even get a tracking system of some sort going on here so that I can track my weigh loss and fitness progress. I'm also going to post various celebrity "goals" on here. People that I think it would be feasible to look like without the benefits of personal trainers and nutritionists like all of them have. Not to mention chefs. Granted I love cooking, but sometimes it would be nice to have someone take care of all of that for me. Plus do the dishes.
So here we go! Two nights ago I did the Turbo Jam ab workout, and I did the entire thing for the first time in a LONG time. I wasn't able to do the floor part when I was pregnant. Two days later I'm still considerably sore from it. Sore enough that I'm trying to avoid coughing.
Last night I did the Learn and Burn from Turbo Jam. It's not a hard routine by any means, but it showed me how out of shape I really have become. It wasn't really difficult, just slightly uncomfortable. I feel like I've lost essentially all of my flexibility that I had from when I was dancing.
This weeks celebrity goal is Eliza Dushku. She's fit and skinny, but not anorexic looking like a lot of celebs. This isn't the best picture though, it makes her feet look HUGE!
